Congratulations on completing the course I had a great time
working will all of you. I just have one
more question. Did utilizing a blog in
this class benefit you in anyway? For
example did doing this exercise make you closer with any of your peers, did it
help you be more prepared for class or did it expose you to new
information. Please be as specific as
possible, don’t be afraid to look back at old post for ideas. If participating in this class blog did not
benefit you please (which is ok I like honesty) be specific with your
reasons. Thanks again for participating
in this activity I feel like it enriched our class.
I think the blog was helpful in reiterating the class ideas. It helped to have the activities and the blog to reinforce the ideas and major points. I also feel that it helped us get more comfortable with each other. I am a person that needs to have main points and ideas drilled in my head to have it truly stick and being a hands on learner, the activities and games always helped. You and Diane have helped me not only learn so much, but you guys really made me happy to go to school. I never felt anxious or stressed or depressed in both of your classes and I struggled daily with that at RHS. You guys have changed my life. Thank you so much. I'll miss you!!
ReplyDeleteI am in agreement with the belief that this online blogging activity enriched our classroom learning experience. It had allowed us to hear the opinions of others from the comfort of being online which helps some people open up more. Secondly, I found it nice and enlivening to have this as homework as opposed to a worksheet as it allowed us to share in class and further interact with the teacher and out peers. I would definitely enjoy using naiku and participating in the blog when I take Economics B next session. Great work Chris! Great work class!
ReplyDeleteI agree that the blog was really helpful. It helped to reinforce the ideas that were taught in class. It made me feel a lot more comfortable around the people in my class and allowed me to get to know them and their thoughts and ideas a little better. I think the structure for this class was great and its nice to have the opinionated conversations over this website. I love ABE and it has been the perfect fit for me. I'm glad I finally have my schooling done (Almost) and I'm blessed to have had the opportunity to get it finished here.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know if the blog really helped me learn that much. But I can say it did let me kinda see through other peoples eyes when we talk about different information and ideas. Had a super bomb time. The twitter was really helpful too. Thank you so much Mr. Chris
ReplyDeleteIm not sure if the blog was helpful to me but I was able to see people's opinions and views on certain tings. It helped making us think about certain questions. I enjoyed the class and the games that we played.
ReplyDeleteI believe the blog did help, as it allowed me to see others ideas and helped me to refine my own views. It certainly made me put more into the class, which I believe allowed me to get more out of it. Thank you for the opportunity to learn more about economics, I certainly needed the instruction.

The blog idea was cool, you could have your own detailed answers and get detailed responses. The blog allowed you to read others opinions, and you could see how others thought about certain topics. Reading others "Way of thought" gave me more ways to view & understand the topics we were studying in economy.
ReplyDeleteI think the blog was a good idea it helped me actually think about what we were learning in class. Because to be honest if we didn't do the blog i would probably forget what we were even talking about but that's just me. but all in all yes the blog was a good idea and also the feedback was a good way to converse on what we had just learned with our peers.

I think the blog posts were helpful. They brought up the topic of class, which helped reiterate and refresh memories. They didn't immediately bring the students closer but I believe when we discussed them in class it brought on a detailed discussion. It gave us something that we all already had an opinion on to talk about. I think the blog post were helpful in multiple ways.
