Save the Whales! (Night Class)

In society there is concern about certain animal species becoming extinct (like whales).  There are many people that have campaigned to save animals that are endangered (Save the Whales).  Think about the amount of beef and chicken consumed every day.  Why aren't cattle and chickens in danger of extinction, along with all the other endangered species?????

The percentage of teenagers using their precious time to work for wages or to look for work had dropped to the lowest on record.  Create a hypothesis for why this is.  Also, include details from your own personal life to this post.  If you have ever had a job during high school or are currently employed explain why you made this decision and if it affected your human capital.  If you have never had a job in high school explain why you made this decision and how your human capital has been affected.

Increasing your human capital (Night Class)

 

Human Capital: the knowledge and skills people gain from education, on-the-job training, and other experience.  Building your own human capital is an important and can lead to great success in the future.  What have you done lately to increase your human capital?  Tell the class what you have done to increase your human capital and how it will help you in the future.  Personally, I went back to school to obtain another teaching license in drivers education.  This new license will allow me to obtain a summer job when I am not teaching. Post are by the beginning of Wednesdays class 3/5/14
